Fun lovers itinerary! (Saturday to Saturday) *
Arrive in Marsh Harbour, provision and head to the Cruise Abaco docks at the Abaco Beach Resort for the charter briefing, dinner, swimming, and pool bar.
Depart the Cruise Abaco docks and sail to Great Guana Cay; you can pick up a mooring ball or anchor to the north. Take a short walk up the hill to Nippers for the Sunday party! Walk (or stumble) down to Grabbers for the evening, dinner and sunset.
Pull anchor in the morning and head over to Treasure Cay - especially if you need to have a little down time. Enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches and grab some drinks and lunch or dinner on the beach. Be sure to visit Cafe La Florence and get a wonderful cinnamon bun and other tasty treats!
*weather permitting
After breakfast (Cafe La Florence maybe?) set sail for Elbow Cay and pick up a mooring ball in the harbour at Hope Town. There are lots of small shops, bars, restaurants, and beaches to explore. You can also take a tour of the Hope Town Lighthouse - "the last active kerosene burning and manned by keeper lightstation in The Bahamas".
Next up is Little Harbor and Pete's Pub & Gallery. This is a nice sail to the southern end of Marsh Harbour, if you have a chance and good weather a stop at Sandy Cay for snorkeling will get you thirsty all over again. Pick up a mooring ball in Little Harbour and dinghy in to Pete's Pub for lunch and/or dinner; be sure to check out the gallery, you will be amazed what they can do on a remote island.
If you didn't get a chance to snorkel Sandy Cay, you've got another chance today on your way back to the banks of Tilloo. When you get to Tilloo Cay, drop an anchor on the north end and take your dinghy down to ride the current back while you search for rays, turtles, and other amazing creatures. The best time to visit the banks is during low tide as it starts to rise. The beach is a great place to chill and cook dinner. This is a great place to spend the night if the conditions are right.
Your last stop is Tahiti Beach. This spit of sand is one of the most beautiful in the area, relax, explore and get ready for a tasty beverage or two when the Thirsty Cuda arrives. Lubber's Landing is open across the water, so if the water is calm head over to finish off the evening. The wood fired pizza is great!
Return to the Cruise Abaco docks and schedule your next adventure in the Abacos! There is so much more to see and do!
Happy Sailing!
